Volvo Penta Raw Water Strainer Housing Required

Hi,

I'm looking for a raw water strainer (push in pipe type) and pipe retainer plate suitable for a VP AD41B, although I believe they are used on other models. P/N on bottom of housing is 842719.

Hi Martyn, thanks for your reply.

That’s the new style replacement which requires modifications to the existing plumbing to fit. I think I’ve found an original one now thankfully.

I thought the plastic screw tops were the old ones as they used to fail ? I replaced them on my targa 40 but it is long ago and I don’t recall what the replacement was

correct - the new ones have a clear perspex lid which is held in place by 4 thumbscrews
