Volvo Penta MD7A

Hello,
A friend of mine is seeking spare parts and replacement bits for a Volvo Penta MD7a,
Does anyone have any, or any advice that they can offer, sell, ect.
He is new to his boat, unfortunatley the engine isnt,

Service parts are availble from Volvo or, for cheaper, non-branded but just as good parts, ASAP - their web site identifies which are the correct parts for the MD7a making their purchase very straightforward. I also have a MD7a, now over 30 years old, and it's an excellent engine.

dont recall the site but you can get the workshop manual on line if you search for it. Volvo made it available. My limited requirement to seek spares hasn't proved difficult. Our local dealer has always found something which will do.

I know one was replaced last year at the Crinan Boatyard. They may break for spares
