Hi guys,

I have a trouble with port engine.

It wont cranking, diagnostic button is still lightning on, not blinking, cant read any of faults.

I found one of two fuses blown, putted in new, resetted fuse with buttons.

Checked big cables which are connected to black box.

But its still same, Diagnostic button still light on, cant crank, i cant hear actuator sound when turn ignition to position I, I tried
to change all relays, battery disconnected for 10 minutes.

Can anybody help me or give me some tips, please?

Thank you so much
Martin

Try and do a lever calibration by hold8mg down the N and D button then turn ignition on , then calibrate the levers .

The 44 might have a separate edc supply from the battery , check the edc has power , in front of starter motor you will see two terminals with red and black cables , test for power there , depending on what make of boat you have determines how it has been power supplied.

Could it be actuator?

Because i dont hear it when i turn ignition on.

Engine was reving at 1300rpm for an hour on neutral before this happened.

What is strange, i cant read faults, because that D button is still lights on.

Do you know where is some control unit, i want to know if it has power.

Thank you

Some Cranchi boats have a separate battery switch usually activated from a key near to ignition switches , check this as it’s the edc supply . Check engine edc terminals front of starter motor , check power at thick starter leads .

I have checked, everywhere is power.

There is one key between the keys to the engines, which draws power to the instrument devices and switches off the 220v supply. Under the seat there are two switches, one main battery and the other for engines.

on thick leads on engine is power.

Where does this engine have edc unit ?

thank you

So guys,

EDC unit is dead, because it get overheated.
EDC unit is mount on fuel filter, because fuel is cooling the unit.

Thanks
