mine read down to 6mins ie 1/10 hr Are you sure yours are not displaying a decimal point?

Can any one tell me,do volvo penta hour meters read 1/2 hours as well as the full hours.
I was told that the clock read 379.5 hrs I have now been told by someone else it is actually 3795 hrs
Can someone tell me which one is correct .

Yes. Volvo hour meters show one decimal point. Your meters are reading 379.5

Cheers for this. I have just been on to my "mate" and told him, his answer was "yes i know but it got you sweating"

I was that surprised it was working i had to take a pic. the other one has worked once back in 2008.
As with DavidJ's comment it was the warm day last year

I have managed to fix the hour meter problem on some boats in the past. Try jamming a small piece of foam rubber between the back of the black face and where the ribbon cable attaches to the Lcd display. I've had about a 70% sucess rate.

I can program the hours, a £40 cheque made out to the rnli and the return postage for the pair.
