Volvo Penta D4 DPH Legs

Have just registered to find out further info re ongoing problems with above. Bought my boat new in 2006 and have problems since then - dealer (in Spain) has been very good at trying to solve problems( costing me a lot in the process!) despite Volvos lack of support.Despite fitting bellows(at my cost)they started to leak again! My dealer tells me that that Volvo have brought out a Mk4 version of the rams and will contribute 40% of the cost. Big deal!! I'm going to have to cough up yet again to put right what is a fundamental design/manufacturing problem. How long till it goes again and Volvo bring out a MK5 version who knows?
If this was a car manufacturer with steering problems all the cars would be recalled and like Toyota in US would be heavily fined!!

French problem

Same problems in France
a new disposal till july
here VP take off 60 % the third year and 40 % the 4th year on the parts only
before it is the warranty
We think here it is not the warranty but défaults and vices cachés (in french)and then VP must repair like for a car
We are trying to make an Action group
action group internationnal ?

other problem with DPH legs

Both trim hose have a leak on my D4
When the leg is high there is a conflict that borke the external rubber part of the hose then it leak
In france there are two having the same problem
have you heard of it ?
