Hi, i have a Sunseeker San Remo 2017 with twin Volvo Penta IPS 600's. The boat is also equipped with Dynamic Positioning System. When i now engage the Autopilot either via the Volvo MFD screen or via the Joystick the boat immediately turns initially to port quite dramatically and then back to starboard and repeats, its as if the Zig Zag pattern Steering function is engaged but its not, any ideas? Thanks

J do you know where sensor is on the 58? I have had same issue. Basically my GPS is all over the place for first few minutes. Then it reads about 50 deg out. Eventually it comes in line but usually only after doing the odd 90 degree turn!!
 
No sorry. My guess would be near your feet on the lower helm but I have never looked for it or stumbled across it.

they are supposed to be low but I have never spotted in the bilge. Under stbd cabin bed ?

That’s interesting. I keep a bunch of tools and kot I use down there at foot level as I never use that helm. Perhaps this is causing my issue. I will remove them and see what happens. Thanks.
