Does anyone have a Volvo Penta AQ145 connect to a calorifier to heat water for the boats domestic water supply?

I would like to see some pictures and schematics of where to connect a calorifier to. My boat had a gas hot water system removed some time ago by a previous owner. I don't really want to reinstall a gas system and would prefer to install a calorifier.

Any pointers would be appreciated.

If memory serves Volvo used to sell a kit to replace one of the drain valves on the block by a stud for outlet and another to return the circuit into the blanked point on the circulation pump. Being an OEM kit the cost was beyond the value of most boats with AQ145 alive these days, so tread carefully

Oh. That sounds expensive.

I do have a hose fitting on the side of my block under the exhaust manifold but it looks like it's for drainage only.
