Hi All I'm looking to replace this Pump as it appears to be leaking fluid .. however it could be the fittings that are worn, these are near impossible to replace so does anyone know the following :

What the fittings are called ?
What is the Model number for the Pump?
Where can i get replacement hoses?
Is there a service pack for it?

Is there a Refurbisher for these pumps and what are the costs

Is there any advice anyone can give me any advice for resolving the leak

Many thanks

Englishman

Its the same pump as Mercruiser and at least half the cars on the road. I would try a motor factor and any decent hose specialist should be able to make new hoses if you give them the old one as patten, its got to be cheaper than Volvo.

These pumps were widely used on many different car and boat engines.

There are some subtle differences though so be careful if buying one that looks the same.

I went through this exact problem a year or so back and found a replacement on eBay for about £30

thanks Guys Mr Googler thats the wrong fittings for the pump i need i have one in america that has been sourced but long way to send back if wrong,

Madabouttheboat yes but different fittings so dont know if that would matter for the in out connections or is placement relative?

Spannerman thats a good ide to take to motorfactors need an old hand who knows what they are as they are old

will take it off at the weekend to have a look at seals any other thing i should be looking for

There was one with bent pipes too but yours looked straight. Are you sure it wrong? Any slack in the flexible pipe as that’s in a slightly different place.
