Leaking water pump on volvo penta 2003t.
I am replacing the seals on a vp 200t that are in front of the impeller. Can anyone confirm that there are two "spring seals" and one o ring and how are they put in.... I.e. Does the the first one go spring facing forward, then the o ring and the second seal spring facing aft?

Yes, 2 single lip seals with springs and 1 O ring in between them. The lip seals have the springs facing outwards as you describe

Make sure the seals you order have stainless steel springs some have mild steel and rot in weeks, ask how I know

Thanks for info.... I am in Ireland and if you have U. K. company that supplies stainless steel springs (presumably 316) I would be very grateful. I agree with you on the mild steel as the ones I took out were rotten.
