I have an oil leak on a 2001 TAMD74EDC engine. No loss of power detected. No increase in engine temp. Compression value down on one cylinder only. Oil flows up the dipstick tube and has been forced back through the air filters and sprayed all around the engine room.
Have taken head off, removed pistons - no sign of any damage. However seems we may have a rogue piston ring.
Has anyone else had a problem of this kind?
