Had a good look around the race village today, situated on the barrage
No cost and v interesting
Shame we had to come back to portishead as would have liked to have seen the first of the fleet arrive in the bay
They are currently off ilfracombe so should land in the early hours
Hope to come over on June 10th to watch them leave
This really is a major event and fear of endurance and I’m surprised there isn’t more in the medi about it
A visit to the race village is highly recommended

I popped down to the boat Sunday with the thought of stopping over and going to the race village on the Monday but totally forgot about it and decided to drive back up on the Sunday night. A bit of coverage might have jogged my memory... but then again maybe not.

I'm half tempted in stopping down this Sunday and going Monday with the little man.

Out this morning welcoming them in. Bit bumpy at times, but a great sail, and back for breakfast!
I'm told there are lots of pics of my boat in the village, I have seen the 5m by 3m wall in the Wales pavilion, just need somewhere to put it after the event.
