Volvo Md2b, Md11c

Does anybody know the main differences between these engines.
Can the starter/flywheel and brackets be transferred from Md11c to Md2b currently on dynastart?

Hi, I had an Md2 in my last boat and changed it too an Md11d,
The Md2 was 15.5hp and had the RB gearbox which had to have a big lever to put it in gear,
I changed it because the dynostart had packed up and the exhaust/cooling manifold was badly blocked and was causing the rear cylinder heat.
The Md11d was 25hp and much higher revving, Cruising was around 3600rpm compared to the 2000rpm on the md2, Md11 is also about 400cc bigger.
Anything I tried to swap on these engines ( despite looking similar ) didn't fit. Eg, the crank starter, manifold, gearbox. In fact the whole engine is bigger.
Also if you want to try swapping the flywheels you will need to make a pullers and get a good
big air wrench,

I've found out that the Md11c blocks have liners and the Md2b has solid blocks.
Any other differences?

Different heads and head gaskets oil pump.think that? Feet are wider and front crankcase? But this may be between 1/1bif you look at marine parts Europe parts site and blue moments for parts lists you should be able to check
