Anybody know where I can get a new or re-built water pump this engine? Mine has completely fallen apart with the pully hanging out/on for dear life! I need a replacement ASAP as I'm racking up marina fees in Rota.

Haven't been able to trace a new one anywhere (genuine or otherwise) as they stopped supporting the engine 5 years or so ago.
Volvo part No. for the complete unit is: 826870-8,
engine No. 3127453,
build period between 1979 and 1981.

I have a refurbished fresh water pump in my spares box I am a bit reluctant to part with, but also have bearings and seals to refurbish if I can find them, will look for them tonight. thanks for the engine information.

I got rid of my MD12B 2 years ago; the Volvo dealer was going to try and sell it whole or for parts for me. It may be they still have it. Let me know by PM if you still need it and I'll give them a call. I could have it DHLed to you in a day or two from Trieste.
 
Thanks a lot for the info. I'm tracking down a machine shop in Huelva at the moment, who claim to be able to turn a new shaft for me and then re-build the pump. We'll see!

In the meantime, I'll give keyparts a try - thanks for the number.

Has anybody tracked down the Peugeot car engine details?
 
Got the new head today for my md21b!! The kit number was 908002k -504d Ordered as head for indenor xdp 4/90 2.1litre engine . It came with all the bolts and gaskets, box marked made in Spain. hope this information helps
