Volvo MD2020 sacrificial anode

Hi There,
Is there a pencil anode on the raw water cooling system, I can’t find and reference to one in the manual?
our previous boat had a beta engine which had one and they barely lasted a season. It does seems bit odd that the only abodes are on the sail drive and prop.

The HE is corrosion resistant

I assumed that 2020s were all fresh-water cooled. Do you mean 2002 by any chance? This does have an anode at the front of the engine, though it is many years since I had one, but it is easy to access.

Edit, I thought you meant cooling system when I see that you meant cooling side.

I have the Perkins Perama M20 which the Volvo md 2020 is based on and there is no anode.

The HE is corrosion resistant

Ours (a 2030) didn't get that memo. About 15 years old, only 3 months in our possession, the fresh water followed the salt out of the exhaust via the HE. Knowing only that the overheat alarm had sounded and the fresh water was low, we filled 2 cylinders with coolant before the root of the problem became apparent. I'm older, wiser and poorer after that!
