After about 8 years out of service, I have just refitted the 2 DP290 drives to my Triana Tropica - my problem is that one of the drives raises and lowers correctly on the toggle switch, and to raise to the full up/beaching position the button has to be depressed at the same time as the toggle.

The other leg will come up on the toggle switch, but will not go down on the toggle switch alone, the button has to be depressed as well. We have changed the relay and tried another display/head unit to no avail.

Is this a known problem or has anyone come across it before? My electrician who looked at it today said he needs the full schematic diagram for the system, which I am going to try to find on the net, but if anyone can shed any light i would be most grateful.

Thanks for any info

For a start is the trim reading minus 5/6 when trimmed down? It needs to be somewhere around that figure .

It should only need to override button from plus 6 upwards.

The trim has all been set up by my engineer and reads 4/5 when fully down. He has checked everything through and it all does the correct stuff apart from needing the override button to energise the toggle switch.

The electrician has the basic diagram from the Volvo manual, but says he needs the detailed schematic to investigate fully.

Thanks for your responses
