Has anyone else had this problem with a Volvo start/stop key switch?
The boat is a Princess with TAMD63 engines.
When I turn the key anti-clockwise to stop the starboard engine, the engine stops and the panel dials etc. go off, but when I release the key and it springs back to the off position, the panel lights and dials come alive again. The port engine switch is fine. Do I need to replace the key switch , which will be a nightmare as its location makes it difficult to get a hand to it, or could the fault be electrical, ie. a relay or something ?
I would love someone to offer an easy fix solution.
