Does anyone know if there is an alternative to part 21710298 Power Steering oil cooler.

as Usual Volvo what an arm and a leg for a small part. Did not know if there is an aftermarket part thats as good but at more reasonable price.

I fitted EJ Bowman units to replace the extortionate and badly manufactured VP gearbox oil coolers.

Original part number from VP was 842240 at £1,600 each. I paid £200 for two Bowman units including all accessory parts needed. Details on my blogsite or PM me for further details.

I saw a picture of yours on a US EBAY listing and it appears to have two connections one end, so either these will be on the inlet or the outlet, so a tee arrangement onto a Bowman would be needed, Can't see it being that big an issue.

If you do go for a Bowman I found some plastic mount clips that wrapped perfectly around the bowman making the install almost look original fit. PM me for details of the supplier I used. I have some photos of the install I can PM you if you need.
