Volvo KAD300 Exhaust

Hi

I'd like some advice on the exhaust setup for KAD300 with DPG drive.

I'm considering fitting a custom riser and a straight through exhaust and would be interested to get peoples feedback of the positives and negatives.

Clearly there will be no more rusty cast iron components, but I need to ensure I'm not creating other issues.

As I can see no reason not to, why would you want the noise though? You will need to remove the transom shield exhaust and blank it off or just blank off the pipe properly to risk water ingress. Do not divert the water in though as it cools the leg.
