Just browsing the Volvo technical bulletin site and came across the installation and setup for their version of Mercruisers Axius, its a hydraulic cylinder on each sterndrive and they are powered by their own electric pump which is controlled by a joystick via the engine management system, so you have vectoring of the drives and shifting enabling you to go sideways etc.
Bet it costs a lot more than Mercruisers version if the price differential between Zeus and IPS is anything to go by.
 
Yep, it'll be an arm and leg job. Think I'll stick to the lump of steel between the tiller arms /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif For an aid to close quarters manouvering, retro fitting a bow thruster would probably be cheaper.
