Anybody done this, the C120 says it can display all the data, I assume all that is needed is a box to change the Volvo gibberish to NMEA gibberish. Also what are the implications if I already have summat linked up to the C120 NMEA in.

Not done it so will be interest to hear if anyone has. I've done it the other way round - taken NMEA data and fed it into a volvo EVC black box (£350) to turn it into Volvo gibberish, and it works fine.

Yep can be done, you will need the following-

2- MDND200 inline terminator
1- MDND22A-M010 connector cable
1- M82516-M010 power cable
1- M8A5006-32 plug for Seatalk 2
1- E25041 Seatalk2 cable

Thanks Spannerman, that reads as though I don’t need any kind of magic box, just cables & plugs which is a result indeed. Don’t suppose you can tell me how to hook it all up can you, pretty please.
BTW I assume that means that the VP data is already NMEA2000 or at least NMEA2000 transparent, is that correct.

We have just bought a Nimbus 320 With an Volvo Penta D4 260 I B (I presume, since it is an 2006 model).

The GPS/Multi display is an Raymarine C120, and i really want engine data to show on that display. Most important is fuel comsumption. Anybody that have tried the guide shown here, or is capable of sending me an Schematic so that i can have a go?
