How did you fill out the online order form? When I tried it would only allow Scandinavian addresses to be entered. Country choice UK was not offered.

I sent an email to info@autolux.ee as shown on the contact page. I had a reply from a Margus Konsa (the MD I think) within a few hours. He emailed me an invoice with the bank details the following day and I paid by bank transfer. He is also a sailor with his own boat and runs a charter business on the Baltic. :)

To cut a long story short I am now out of pocket.... contacted Margus who sent invoice....made international payment through bank £15 fee..... delivery charge 25eu...... all paid...so I thought. Slight error on recipient being different to account number money returned to my account after £35 in fees.... so £35 out of pocket and no LCD's. With the delivery charges and bank transfer fee it just isn't worth the hassle in my opinion. He needs to update his website to allow international orders.

Sorry to hear things went wrong. I arrived home from the boat today and my two screens were on the doormat having been delivered in our absence.

I'm lucky that I have a Euro bank account so could transfer the right amount without charges. However, I just took the account name, IBAN number etc directly from the invoice and copy and pasted it into my bank website to make the transfer. What do you mean by a slight error in the number? If you typed even one wrong IBAN number into the online form then I'm rather surprised that all the money didn't vanish into a black hole. Unfortunately with electronic banking you usually only get the one chance. :(

Hi Richard, no all the numbers were correct but I mistakenly made the payment to Marcus instead of the company...that's why it was sent back... so my mistake....its just that my bank charged £15 for the transfer...then when it got returned all the banks it went through took their chunk..so when it got back to my account approx. £35 had gone..... also the postal charges for what is 2 very small/light items is 25eu which in my opinion is extremely excessive.... having said all this Marcus has been in touch and he is promising to update their website, ordering procedure to simplify things and he has promised to let me know when this is up and running... Upshot of it all is that trying to save a few quid has so far done anything but..
