Volvo duo props are sized by a letter and a number (ie) A6
Does anyone know how to decode this. I know a "C" suffix is stainless. I want to experiment with changing from alloy to stainless props but I don't know how the props compare pitch- wise.
Any Ideas?

if you go to http://www.penta.volvo.se and look under accessories/propellers you can down load the charts giving their reccomendations
I understand that the sizing is not listed at all
different props go with different drives and engines
not all ss props are c
if all else fails ask the boat builder

Go to a local Volvo Penta Dealer, I remember last year (I think) and saw a free catalogue full of Volvo parts and quite a few pages on their entire prop range including sizes/pitch etc.

I got mine from D.B Marine http://www.dbmarine.co.uk/ they are pretty helpful. They are near you Cookham Maidenhead.

Failing that I could dig mine out and fax you all the prop pages, just PM a fax number.
