Volvo DPH Steering Failure

Just returned to our, new to us, boat in Croatia after two years of Covid hibernation. We had all the batteries replaced, engines serviced, anti fouled etc but we also have a steering fault. It’s a twin Volvo D6-370 with DPH sterndrives. The local Volvo service agent doesn’t inspire me with confidence. The error message is “Steering Fault” and the two fault codes are;

MID 250 PSID 10 FMI 7 and
MID 250 PSID 9 FMI 7

Can anyone help with these codes please?

Thanks

Difficult to say exactly without knowing the EVC generation, although the code will probably have roughly the same description regardless

Thanks for all for your suggestions. We replaced the solenoids on the starboard drive valve block, because they were out of spec. That didn’t resolve it so today we lifted the boat and replaced three of the four steering rams. They weren’t leaking and had previously been replaced in 2017 with almost no use in between. The alarms have gone off and we will find out in the morning if it’s fixed
