Volvo D6-330 won’t rev above 2500

Just to tidy this up.

We had a full set of new VP G7 props fitted. I ordered the set as I will rebush the ones just taken off and then refit these to the other leg and take those props as spares.

I ordered the props from Keypart and got a great price as well us very good shipping to France where they arrived in 3 days. Fitted in the slings of a local port (St Jean) and there has been no reoccurrence of the fault.

I have the old props in my hold luggage and are taking them back to the U.K. for rehubbing.

Jimmy, think we can negotiate a job lot??

I need 2 G6 front props rebushing (must be the same as Jimmy) I’m interested to hear where you get it done. It looks like it could be quite pricey.

Tee-hee, I doubt it, but worth a try... :D

I tried Steel Developments last time and they wouldn't do it. Hamble Props did do it, but subcontracted it, don't know where to. Cost about £300 if memory serves.

Just spoke to Hamble Props, they put me in touch with Streamlined Propellers whom they use. Chap called Geoff. Anyway its £216 for re-bushing and carriage for a G6. Hope that helps anyone else looking to get it done.

That's helpful, thanks. I'll give Streamlined a try. Thanks for the tip.
