Volvo D12 EDC Flash Code 1-2-1

Boat lost the port engine the other day doing 22 knots and it would not restart unless I turned the ignition off and back on then it would start straight up and get back onto the plane as normal then 30 secs later stop again, fuel filters are clean.

Edc flash code is 1-2-1 but I cannot find the code anywhere as they all seem to be 2 flashes not 3 like mine is giving, anybody any ideas please.

Fault code tables are in the manual , are you sure it's a 3 digit code?

Have you ever had a software upgrade since you bought it, which d12 are they ?

Hi Paul and thanks for helping, 2006 715hp d12s no software upgrades to my knowledge and theres only 2 digit codes in the manual and this one is 1-2-1.

Not sure if it helps but for my D4 260,s which are EVC the 1-2-1 code is for water in the fuel filter water trap. Might be worth a check?

Thanks Keith its the first thing I did and they had no water and just a small bit of muck so not that.
