Trying to figure out D1-13 sensors to make new warning light panel.
There is 2 water sensors, one is on exhaust side. This one have only one pin. I put there temp gauge and temp was 100c. What is correct temperature for this? engine is not overheating and fresh water side is still cold.Second sensor is with two pins, with this one i dident get readings on temp gauge. Is this sensor only for warning light?IMG-20220815-WA0004.jpgIMG-20220815-WA0005.jpg

Anybody? I think volvo use same sensors on other D1 engines too
T he electrical components diagram in your Operator's Manual shows the positions of the water temperature and oil pressure sensors (See below)
The standard VP wiring colour codes will identify them too:
Temp gauge sensor light brown
Warning light sensor white / brown

In any case easy enough to check them with a multimeter

so sensor is for gauge and switch is for idiot light?
why that sensor in first picture have two wires?

Yes sensor is for the gauge ànd switch is for the warning light and alarm.
I don't know why it has two wires. I was wondering the same. It's normally when the engine has an isolated electrical system.
