Just about to reinstall the props onto twin CAD32's but mislaid the manual. I didn't mark which prop came off which leg.
Question - is there a left or right prop ? or doesn't it matter ?

Although they are supplied as a matched pair, in practice it doesn't matter if they get mixed up. They are not handed.

Ah I didn't add that I was refering to duoprps which they mainly are. If single prop then yes you need them turning outwards.

Volvo kad 32 will be running a duoprop drive so you can only put the props on one way.. The inner prop is larger with a large shaft than the outer prop however there are some thrust washers to go in front of each prop which if missed will not allow the prop to turn when the prop nut is tightened.

Don't ever remember any thrust washers? Am I missing something? Between the props the only thing i've had (on 2 boats) is the big nut?

They're probably wedged in to the back of each prop.
Sometimes they stay wedged in, sometimes they pop out and are visible sitting on the shaft.

You'd definitely know if they were missing: there would be a very interesting noise as you tried to go into gear...

Ah OK, the props definately move freely so they're still wedged in I guess
