hi all, just took receipt of our new(to us) boat which requires a bit of TLC!! its our second boat and is a sunseeker martinique. i would be gratefull if anybody could recommend a good, sensibly priced marine mechanic who operates in the lincolnshire area to carry out the full service on a couple of Volvo ad41b engines, unfortunately the boat has had very little use over the last few years and as the survey pointed out and judging by the filters, belts etc not particularly well maintained. but hoping a thorough service and some serious use over the forthcoming season she will be a good as new!! many thanks in advance

AD41b's are just about indestructable. I'm sure an oil, filters and belt change and perhaps a check on the valve clearances will have them right. Follow that up with a good cleaning and a lick of paint and you'll be eating your dinner off them!! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

As previously posted try volvopaul if you don't want to do it yourself.
