Volos/Skiathos Floods

OMG! Further communication, from Helm:

"No worries,
Of course if anything changes do let me know.

If you wanted somewhere else/ different charter company, we can help to get you a very good deal too."

My response:

"Peter, what happens if there's another weather incident like this? Do I lose £6k on that too? Seriously, once bitten, twice shy. I think let's leave at that."

I actually feel like this is gaslighting!

Given Benjenbavs point on frustrated contract I think it's well worth looking at for £6K and the entertainment, I thought you were made of sterner stuff. ;)

Life is too short and I have read the contract. There's being bloody minded or moving on. Anyway, I have warned others, so I feel I have done my proactive bit.

Sailing Aegean is a Greek co, I very much doubt they operate under EN law (but I'm no lawyer)
No idea who's the owner, from what I hear the guy sort of managing locally the co is rather arrogant and not nice to deal with.
Don't like betting but pretty sure they went for a quick buck which is silly under the circumstances.
Since the decisions seem to be taken locally in Volos and not by the big man whoever and wherever he/she is doesn't help.
A stir at social media could be more instrumental than trying to persuade an idiot as that will be picked up by the big man and they'd like to pull some strings and get their company image restored.
