For what its worth I lived in my boat more or less full time for 10 years + .

I have now got a house in a beautiful part of France with the boat parked a couple of hundred yards away in a lovely safe old port - I went fishing with a french friend yesterday and caught bass for dinner...

Just cannot wait to get back to living in my boat...........
