Does anyone have any hands-on experience of repairing keel shoes on the Vivacity 24? I am quite desperate to find out if the keel body is isolated from the keel shoe by GRP and what damage is likely IF water has entered into the ballast chamber (steel or lead loaded?) .
I don't want to hack away without some idea of the construction.
Is there some kind soul out there who's done this on this particular boat and is willing to share the experience?
