VisitThames website

Just been advised that if you click onto www.visitthames.co.uk from today, it is now the new website in its new web home and being managed by Tourism South East on behalf of the River Thames Alliance Marketing Partnership.

A few glitches to be ironed out but some nice new imagery and looking good.

The good news is

This represents a real success in terms of the sustainabilty of the website into the future, as the annual costs should be reduced by nearly 80% so it is capable of being fully funded through the partnership now.

Things jiggled about a bit; bare minimum info on some items left on the EA site but good enough.

I do miss the personal details about some lockies plus pictures - that added a bit of colour and at least you could address the lockie by name.

Progress, I suppose.
