While I have seen lots on the 90 in 180 rules, and a ton of info on VAT status of boats after December, I have seen very little on what us UK boaters will need to do for a short visit into the EU (once we are allowed back in after Covid etc). There was talk at one time of 'ports of entry'. Is that still the case? I am particularly interested in France, Belgium and the Netherlands. Has anyone seen anything official from the RYA, CA or anyone else. It all seems very quiet, unless I have missed it.

It's quiet because it has always been well defined.
Take a look at noonsite for the procedure for a third country registered boats/crew entering EU.
And yes, it does require official port of entry and in some countries official registration of each arrival/departure even after initial entry into EU.
No more weekends to St Vaast for Solent yachts and I'm guessing few will find it practical to go "continental" for any period less than a week.
