Visiting Southampton

Going to a Wedding in June taking place in Southampton and thought it might be an idea to boat there. Any suggestions as to the best place for a visitors pontoon berth for a few days near to the City?

Ocean Village or Shamrock Quay, both are MDL Marinas

Or try Town Quay although a bit bouncy

As Deleted User says Town Quay is a bit bouncy, but closer to town.

Ocean Village is in process of having the shops etc demolished I believe.

Shamrock Quay best bet, although taxi ride into town. Recommend Tap's Restaurant in Shamrock Quay
