...for suggesting replacing my oil filter when my oil pressure dropped - such a simple and inexpensive fix for such a potentially big issue! I went to change the senders over, but it meant removing the alternator and fixing plates to get at them, so I took the easier route of replacing the oil filter and it worked!

Now to tackle the fact that I need another 15 knots of cruising speed. I'm prepared to invest £20 on this, any suggestions?

the 15 knots will be found if you rent a skip and chuck everything in it apart from the engines.
