Does anyone know what happened to this vessel?

I know the first one (catermaren) sank, but the second one made it across the atlantic.

A search on the internet found this : http://www.challengercharter.org/

But its dated 2005 and hasn't been updated.

Anyone know where the boat is and if its in general usage? Hopefully it is!

Cheers.

Looks a bargain before you sign on the dotted line an engine for one of these was £250,000 each twenty years ago so not a cheap re power.

In Spain or the islands a few years back, not in very good shape, I did a project on it back in my college days, called Bransons office in Notting Hill and they invited me up and gave me loads of original photos and bits and bobs simply on trust that I would give it back (which I did)

Also bizarrely I saw a very large model of it in Bushy Park this weekend!

Cracking bit of kit and Ridgeway who was on board with Branson (and Dag etc) now runs Virgin Atlantic.

Gentry Eagle was in Oakland California for quite sometime before being moved, it had a conversion that would quite happily make MBM's ugly boat page...the "other one" has since been moved from Devonport (tink that was the last sighting)
