I am buying a boat which has a Vire 12hp engine installed. Has anyone got one of these engines? What are they like? What fuel consumption should I expect?
It seems most people have the Vire7 I am interested in experience's from Vire12 owners.

I had a Vire 7 once - it ran nicely, can't remember th sfuel consumption though. You can still get spares for them but I forget who the dealer is. As it's petrol, make sure the fuel installation is up to modern regs - you have had asurvey done? and if not up to standard negotiate a lower price.
