Viewing tickets for those who entered

I agree - esp I think from a couple of days before as the fleet arrives on station.
Be worth a run up and down to see what's where and there etc

Esp. on 2nd Sat as all ought to be on parade and alongside or on their alloted yellow buoys that have been laid.

Unsure, but iirc the barrier is closed on the sunday that will make viewing even easier as tideway will be non tideway - have to watch the river closed to traffic notice however.

For the parade a bridge view will be the place IMHO or someones window on the route.

You won't be able to be on the river on the Sunday. Saturday will be busy but I am sure that it will be a nice view on the river that day.

An ideal plan but I believe all Bridges covering the route are closed to traffic and pedestrians
whilst the flotilla is passing beneath. Maybe someone can confirm?

Yes, all bridges will be closed to motor traffic and will be restricted to pedestrians that have been vetted.

"I thought the problem was that you aren't in a boat"

Not quite as pisside orf as once was,in view of shennangins wot have bin going on since :)

SWMBO reckon they have not advised details for the viewing as maybe now charging fan entrance fee for the shore-side / bridge viewing...:-)

I will admit it now, I think I have completely underestimated this whole viewing thing......its going to be far bigger than I ever imagined, perhaps I have been living under a rock..

I had planned just take a train in and grab a view form the river bank...not so!

For me the easiest is now Batt Park at a fiver a pop which is not too near as its one train in and a short walk...

Yes its big and loud too by the sound of it (excuse the pun:-))

Be worth watching the display of seamanship on the day - cant wait.

Just got tickets for it, I can get into St Kats but as everyone and their mother is doing their stuff on the Sunday we have a party in the afternoon, so quick jaunt this side of the river is all that's needed for us...sounds good though!
