I thought since we were all showing our videos a wereisit might be appropriate. The Ocean is in the title so Lat and Long Please. They do say the Polynesians could recognize where they are from the wave shapes. It qualifies as East Coast as the nearest land is East Coast.

I gather the Polynesians navigated by squatting between their outriggers and sensing the waves by dangling their scrotum in the water.

Very good within 30W and 5S. 25degS, 128W. Just East of Pitcairn.

I'm not sure about dangling important bits of me in the water to find out where I am. These things have nasty teeth. My important bits could be mistaken for the lure that got this one.

I used a winch handle to extract the lure, breaking most of the barracouta's teeth unfortunately. And even though we had caught it passing over the Tonga Trench [10,000metres deep] we threw it back as I was concerned about Segura poisoning.

I've had a few sea bass off my mooring this year and put all those back too. The unhooking a little less stressful I would imagine!

Unhooking these is really easy. And other than the Barracouta and a Wahoo were the only thing we caught.

There is nothing quite as good as fresh Tuna on a long sea voyage.
