victron shunt not keeping up with the shore charger

tnx, the connections are all tight, so could be the longer leeds ?

It could be that the bow battery is taking a tiny current to maintain losses. Depending on the charger and the mode it's in, that may not be being met by the charger. For instance, if the charger has a sleep/standby mode it will not wake up for such a small current draw. Available battery capacity could show as xx days, but if left alone the charger would eventually "wake up" and top everything up.

The OP says:
"the victron shunts shows a gradual decrease in % battery capacity left, always showing it is going to run out of charge after 10 days
with a steady 13.8 V showing on the victron app ??!!"

If the charge efficiency setting is not an accurate reflection of the battery's charge efficiency then there will be a mismatch of amps in and out while the battery is on a charger. This is surely *exactly* what we're seeing here?
