Victoria Quay Cowes

Just noticed the proposed development of Victoria Quay in Cowes was abandoned last year and the Council is negotiating to buy the site with the aim of keeping it in employment use. Not sure whether new plans will incorporate a marina.

Yes, it is a pity that the 2015 plans could not be taken to completion. IMHO, Cowes as a whole would have benefitted from another (up-market ) marina on the East side. But there just weren't enough backers at the time.
