Vicrton 702 Battery monitor anomaly

I have just fitted said item above all ok. The House bank shows correctly 12.9 - 13.6 volts depending on whether the main charger is on. However the Aux/Start moniotrs on around 9.6 volts ! When I put a voltmeter on the battery it shows correctly (I'm assuming) 12.9 - 13.6 volts similar to the the House bank. All connections have been checked and the monitor reset to default. Any idea's as to why this might be happening ?
