I was able to calibrate the meter so seems I may have something up. As I said I will prove the meter at the weekend with the emergency antenna which is new then I guess I give you a shout with your Top Climber to whizz up and fix it for me? (joke!)

The Windex is flopping around precariously too for some reason so I guess this may be time to have the mast taken down - shame as it was down recently and I looked it over and all appeared OK. I'll be more thorough in future.

It will be interesting to see if you get a high reading with the emergency antenna also, which might suggest that SWR meters are frequency sensitive after all (not 100% sure about this). If you're anywhere near Northney you can borrow my SWR/Power meter which is designed for VHF & UHF.
