VHF Channels in Spain

Fellow Forumites,

As I am slowly getting settled in Mallorca, I am wondering about the usage of VHF channels in Spain. I assume some channels are allocated to traffic control, customs etc. Does anyone have a chart of what channels to use, e.g. between tender and mothership? I have searched the internet to no avail.

Spain follows the International channels, see http://www.ukseakayakguidebook.co.uk/short_articles/vhf_channels.htm, most marinas use ch9, although there are a few using ch8 where ch9 is being used nearby, i.e. municipal port in Andraxt uses ch8. Guardia Civil don't usually bother calling you first, simply intercept & board!

In the middle of the season you often find a lot inexperienced using ch16 for chit chat!!
