VHF Channel 37 or M

I've downloaded the instruction manuals ... I cant see how to do it !

You do have it set to the International channel set ( INT in the display not the USA or CANadian set ? If bought in the UK it should be set ! .......... Not that I can see how to change that setting !

UK suppliers advertise it as having M1 and M2 !

Yes it is set to International Channels, and I did buy it from a chandler in the UK ( Fox's). I' still on the boat on Tuesday so will call Navico/Lowrance then

I have now spoken to Navico/ Lowrance who say that all VHF sets sold in the UK should have been programmed with channel 37. I can't do it myself, they need to plug it in and re-program. They have agreed that if I send it to them they will do it foc providing the serial number shows it was supplied in the UK. I will send it over the winter. It will be interesting if they say it wasn't originally supplied in the UK as I definitely bought it at Fox's chandlery in Ipswich

Thanks for the feedback.

That’s exactly what we were told and did, took 4 days in total, I do wonder if there is some alternative route that allows stock to get into UK that bypasses the UK manufactures office, as said the mod cannot be done by the dealer.

Interestingly Lowrance said that UK dealers now sell a lot of marine electronics on the internet to the rest of Europe due to the exchange rate making it cheap for foreign buyers, but of course that complicates things so far as VHF's are concerned where the programme channels differ by territory.
