Vg waring and son hydro workshop

Hi all I have an old wooden mahogany river boat
Only indication I have to know anything about it is a tag on the dash saying vg waring and son hydro workshops 2580

There seams to be nothing on internet about this firm so making it hard to identify the boat , which needs a bit of repair ,

As you can probably tell I know little of boats

I have photos but can’t seam to load them

Any information or links to getting some would be greatly appreciated
