Initially thought water in the bilges after running for a while might be down to leaking shaft seal but further investigation suggests it might be coming from exhaust/waterlock area in lazarette.

Will obviously be checking hose clamps and hose integrity but would be interested to know if anyone has had any problems with the water locks themselves?

Can be a bit flimsy at the hose tails prone to distortion also lack of cooling water can cause them to melt and very expensive for a bit of plastic. I prefer the fiberglass centek stuff from asap imho.

I had one which wore a small hole on one corner vibrating against the hull. Fixed it with repositioning and a soldering iron.
