As a follow on from my previous post re my GD900 monitor.Does anybody know someone that maybe able to look at my unit with a view to checking it out, or the possibility of a repair? I've contacted my local vetus agent and he contacted vetus direct, who say no replacements are available and also no repairs are undertaken by them.
Only hope now is trying to find a working S/H unit or someone willing to take a look at mine?

Any help would be appreciated

Cheers

Philip. :nightmare:

I'd say it's past its sell-by date. The sensors are a consumable item, and the "bains" seem to be either very fiddly or very complicated. If the brains work then just replace the GSENSOR so you'll have a fresh new working sensor system.

That's the problem really it's the monitor that has the problem not turning on ? The gas sensor is relatively new and at a price of £50 I would like to get the monitor working again, so as not to make the sensor worthless!
The monitor has worked faultlessly for the last 7 years until my mishap with the Negative feed.

I find it unbelievable that it is now throw away even without the knowledge that it is irreparable, you never know it might be something really simple to repair?
I just wish I could find someone just to take a look at it. Its just the fact that I can't find out if it's no good that's bugging me.
