Vetus Engine Help

Mayy be worth trying this here...somebody may have had similar experience........I have a Vetus M206 Engine. For some reason the tacho/hrs has stopped working, when I switch on at the control panel, appears to work OK although the alarm no longer sounds, heater plugs appear to work and it still starts and stops at the switch. tacho etc is seperate from the starting panel.

All a mystery.....any thoughts??

Yep, alternator was faulty when I had the same issue with my Beta engine.

Thanks both for suggestions. Habebty. was that alternator faulty as in needed replacement or just a faulty connection?

Replacement unfortunately but I was in a hurry so a rebuild at a alternator specialist might be more economical?
