Hello all,
I am wondering if anyone has fitted a vetus twin helm throttle kit as the instructions are a little vauge. I have installed the twin gear change which works fine. However when I connected the throttle kit to both controllers they both jamb. If i disconnect one throttle all works fine except gear change only works at one helm. I have tried not fitting the cable clamp to the engine, so the cables float, still no joy.
If I disconnect the cable from the remote controller (new one installed) the cable moves freely and throttle also engages in main helm.
All kit is brand new, including cables which all move freely. I'm at a loss now to how it works. Incidently the throttle is pulling which is correct for this kit.
Any ideas anyone before they are float tested ?
